What is the Discovery Call?
The Discovery Call is where every new patient begins. It is a 30-minute, $75 conversation about what you have been experiencing, the support you are seeking, and how Thryva works. You can ask questions and decide whether the concierge model feels like the right next step for you.
What care programs do you offer?
Thryva offers two clinical care programs. Reclaim Together is 6 months of group clinical care, with clinical oversight, labs, and education alongside a small group of women in a similar season. Reclaim Private is 12 months of fully individual clinical care with Dr. Shakeeka. Both include a personalized treatment plan, labs at the start and midpoint, follow-up, monitoring, and adjustments based on your needs.
How much does care cost?
The Discovery Call is $75. Care programs are priced starting at $2,500, beginning with 6 months of Reclaim Together, with payment plans and financing available. Medications are billed separately, so you only pay for what your plan actually requires. We will walk through the options that fit you during your Discovery Call.
Why is there a 6- or 12-month commitment?
Meaningful care takes more than one visit. Six to 12 months gives us time to establish your starting point, see how your body responds, review progress, and safely adjust your plan. This structure also means you have continued support instead of being handed recommendations and left to manage them alone.
Is my medical care private in Reclaim Together?
Yes. The group is for education and support. Your labs, medications, and treatment decisions stay private between you and Dr. Shakeeka.
How is this different from Beyond Normal?
Beyond Normal is an educational group program. You learn to read the labs you already have and leave with a clear plan, but it does not include diagnosis, lab orders, or prescriptions. Reclaim Together and Reclaim Private are clinical care programs, where Dr. Shakeeka becomes your provider and manages your labs, treatment, and follow-up. Learn about Beyond Normal.
Is Thryva self-pay, and can I still use my insurance?
Thryva is a self-pay concierge practice, so your care is paid directly to the practice rather than billed to insurance. When applicable, your insurance may still be used by outside laboratories or pharmacies for prescriptions and additional testing. Coverage depends on your individual plan.
What kinds of patients do you work best with?
We work best with women who want a practitioner to look at the whole picture and are ready to participate in an ongoing, personalized plan. If you are looking for a quick fix or a one-time prescription without follow-up, our concierge model may not be the right fit.
Are visits in person or virtual?
Discovery Calls and eligible follow-up visits may be available in person at our El Paso office or virtually by secure video, depending on your location and the care you need. Any required blood draw is completed at a designated laboratory facility.
