Can I start hormone therapy without the full panel?
Yes. For many women, a hormone plan can begin right after the Alignment Session. The Root Cause Panel is optional. It is not required to start most hormone therapy, and it is the most complete way to understand what is driving how you feel, so nothing is guessed and nothing is missed. Many women begin care and add the panel when they are ready to go deeper. You are never pressured either way.
Is Thryva self-pay, and can I still use my insurance?
Thryva is a self-pay practice for your care, which means your Alignment Session, your testing, and your customized plan are paid directly to us. That is what lets us spend real time with you and build a plan around what you actually need.

What is refundable?
The Discovery Visit is simply a conversation, with nothing to pay and nothing to refund. The Alignment Session is non-refundable once your session has begun. The Root Cause Panel covers real lab testing, and once your labs are ordered the panel is non-refundable, since the testing has been set in motion. Do I have to add the panel or continue with ongoing care?
No. The Discovery Visit and the Alignment Session both stand on their own. You can start with a Discovery Visit, move into an Alignment Session, get clarity and a plan, and decide what happens next. Some women complete the session, add or complete the Root Cause Panel to see their real numbers, and take that information back to their existing provider. There is no pressure either way.
How much are follow-up visits?
Once you move into your customized plan, follow-up visits with your provider for 6 months. These are where we monitor your progress, make adjustments, and keep your plan growing with you. We schedule them at the cadence your plan calls for, and you always know the cost before you book.
What kinds of patients do you work best with?
Women, driving careers, families, or both, who already do the work on the lifestyle side and want a practitioner who will look deeper with them. If you are looking for a quick fix or a single-symptom answer, we are probably not the right fit.
Are visits in person or virtual?
It is your choice. Your Discovery Visit, your Alignment Session, and your lab review can be done in person at our El Paso office or virtually by secure video, whichever fits your schedule and comfort. Your blood draw is completed at a partner facility convenient to you.
How quickly can I get started?
Most can book a Discovery Visit within a few days. From there, the Alignment Session is usually available soon after. If you add or complete the Root Cause Panel, your blood draw can usually be scheduled right away, and your lab review is typically 1 to 2 weeks after your labs return, depending on lab turnaround and your schedule.
How do most patients pay for ongoing care after their review?
